Watch: LeBron James Releases Amazing Statement On Preseason Win vs Warriors

The Los Angeles Lakers won their first preseason game against the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers are still developing their game, and that’s why most fans were surprised to see then beat up the champions.

The signing of LeBron James sure added enough spice to the game. King James had his debut with the team in the preseason opener. Many thought that he would not be able to fit in the Lakers young core, but the defeat over the Warriors says something else.

LeBron was the right fit for the Lakers family, and he really enjoyed playing alongside the young talents. We did not see Lonzo Ball on the basketball court, and he was able to play in the game against the Warriors. This was his first matchup with LeBron James.

Last night’s win was brilliant. LeBron put on quite a show in Las Vegas. He had 15 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. King James also delivered his buzzer-beater for the first time as a member of the Lakers family.

LeBron scored a 35-footer from the left corner near midcourt at the very end of the first half. The king of basketball played for 17 minutes in the first half, but the Lakers still managed to outplay the Warriors, 123-113.

“Doesn’t take much. It takes execution, it took a great back screen by [Kyle Kuzma on Quinn Cook]. It took Lance [Stephenson] doing what he needed to do on the slide going to the strong corner. When you got an athletic point guard like that, it’s my job to put it up there for him to go get it. I think we’ve all seen [Ball’s athleticism] since he was in high school, I believe,” LeBron said of Lonzo Ball’s game. His teammate got off to a rusty start in the preseason opener.
