What Bill Belichick Told Patriots Players After Aaron Hernandez Arrest

The story of Aaron Hernandez will not end until the last detail of his life comes to surface. The Boston Globe released the fourth installment on Wednesday. The four-part series on the former New England Patriots tight end provide detailed stories of his life. Hernandez committed suicide in April 2017 after he was given a life sentence for the death of Odin Lloyd.

The series is packed with revealing anecdotes on Aaron Hernandez and his life. This time we are focusing on Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and his relationship with Hernandez.

Right after Hernandez’s arrest in 2013, the head coach addressed the Patriots and instructed them on how to act during the impending chaos. Well, his remark sure did not surprise us, and we believe that you will not be too surprised. It is just Belichick and his regular comments.

Hernandez’s teammate Dane Fletcher was present when Belichick separately addressed the team. Fletcher quoted the head coach as saying the episode was “not going to be spoken of.”

“He is not part of this team. He will not be spoken about in this locker room,” Belichick told his guys. The head coach went on encouraging the Patriots to win another championship.

We all have our way of handling things, and Bill Belichick chose to ignore the problem and block everything related to it. That’s how Belichick deals with his problems. But, there is one question that worried Patriots fans. Could Bill Belichick stop Aaron Hernandez from losing control? Is there anything he could do to protect him from trouble? I guess we will never find that out.

Hernandez is dead now, and we can only listen to everybody talking about his life. Let’s see how will other players react to this. Will others share their experience with the troubled player?
