Patriots Release Final Injury Report For Week 17 Game

The New England Patriots have just ruled out one player before their final regular-seasong ame against the New York Jets. Tight end Jacob Hollister will miss the Week 17 contest after missing two straight sessions due to his hamstring injury. He was the only player to be ruled out as confirmed by the final injury report of the team.

The injury report reveals that Cordarrelle Patterson, Brandon King and LaAdrian Waddle are ruled as questionable for the upcoming match.

Patterson was injured in Week 16 in the game against the Buffalo Bills. He was present on the field during practice, and head coach Bill Belichick is not too worried about him. Patterson was a limited participant in practice all week. New England has four healthy wide receivers on the active roster. They will have to rely on Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan, Phillip Dorsett and special-teamer Matthew Slater. Patterson was given a bigger role in the game against the Bills after the NFL suspended starting wide receiver Josh Gordon indefinitely.

King is a special teamer, and did not suit up in Week 16 due to his knee injury.

Waddle was a new player to be added to Friday’s injury report. New England has eight offensive linemen on the active roster: Waddle, starting tackles Trent Brown and Marcus Cannon, starting guards Joe Thuney and Shaq Mason, center David Andrews and backup interior offensive linemen Ted Karras and James Ferentz. Offensive linemen Tony Adams and Cole Croston are added to the team’s practice unit.

The Patriots are relatively healthy as they hit the field for one last time before the end of the year. Will they win the match? Who knows… The Jets are not someone you mess or play around with. However, New England really needs this win, and Tom Brady better work that ball.
