Bill Belichick Had Epic Message For Patriots Defense After Taking Super Bowl Lead

Everyone knew that the New England Patriots would win Super Bowl LIII. Well, that does not apply to their haters. There were too many doubters saying that the Patriots dynasty is about to end. Head coach Bill Belichick does not think so, and he designed the perfect gameplan for the Super Bowl. The players took a 10-3 lead after Sony Michel’s touchdown run, and Belichick knew it was time for a pep talk.

McVay and his players could not find a solution to Belichick’s equation, and the head coach advised his players to play strong. New England saved the lead.

“We don’t got a lot of calls left now,” Belichick told the defense. “Let’s make sure we get it right. They really can’t beat us. We just can’t screw up. If we’re on it, you know, they don’t got anything.”

The head coach was right. Stephon Gilmore “killed” the Rams’ last chance of tying the game, and New England won the third Super Bowl in five seasons.

The head coach limited the Rams to 260 yards of total offense and three points by playing more zone than he usually does. Goff held onto the ball longer, and the Patriots’ pass rush pressured the third-year quarterback.

McVay could not change his destiny and there was no way for him to save the day. Belichick created the perfect plan, and nobody could shut it down. Better luck next time, Rams!

“I think when you go through a whole year with other people and you’re doing and experiencing the same thing, which we are, we’re all trying to win games and contribute and help the team,” Belichick said of his players.

The Patriots will get some rest before their OTAs. They are already ready for the next season, and we can say one thing: they will hit the top again.
