Terrifying Leaked Audio of Tyreek Hill Berating Fiancee Over Child Abuse Incident Revealed

Just a day after Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill and fiancee Crystal Espinal were cleared of charges related to the investigation into the alleged child abuse and battery, an audio was released on KCTV-5 in Kansas City. In the audio, the receiver threatens Espinal and they both provide details of physical punishment against the kid.

Hill and Espinal were involved in a criminal investigation and an investigation by the Kansas Department for Children and Families into two incidents that took place in his home in March.

On April 24, Johnson County (Kan.) District Attorney Steve Howe announced that the criminal investigation is closed, noting that neither Hill nor Espinal were charged with a crime.

“We are deeply troubled by this situation and are concerned about the health and welfare of the child in question,” Howe said in a statement. “We believe that a crime has occurred. However, the evidence in this case does not conclusively establish who committed the crime against this child. Criminal cases must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt by admissible evidence, not speculation, rumor or hearsay.”

No evidence? This 11-minute video says it all. The video was recorded by Espinal while her and the football player walked through Dubai International Airport, and was later sent to a close friend. Here’s a transcription:

Espinal: “And now somehow this investigation got brought back up, and you’re about to lose your s***. So now I really want you to sit and think about it because I rode for you against that detective and the CPS people. And they said time and time again that (—) literally, (—) kept saying, ‘Daddy punches me.’ Which you do when he starts crying. What do you do? You make him open his arms and you punch him in the chest. And then if he gets in trouble you get the belt out.”

Hill: “Ok, so what about you? What are you gonna do?”

Espinal: “I told them that he gets whooped. I told them that he gets whooped, but I don’t use a belt. Which is totally different.”

Hill: You do use a belt, and that’s sad. Even my momma says you use a belt.

Espinal: “When have I used a belt? When have you seen me use a belt with (—)?”

Espinal went on saying that the boy is terrified of Hill, and he replied, “You need to be terrified of me too, b****. That’s why you can’t keep a f***** man.”

Hill’s legal team released a statement proclaiming his innocence.

“Tyreek has maintained from the inception and throughout the investigation that he was innocent of any crime,” the statement read. “Contrary to some media reports, Tyreek cooperated with law enforcement, waived his Fifth Amendment rights, and answered questions from both law enforcement and DCF. He continues to cooperate with authorities. Unfortunately, due to laws related to confidentiality, as much as he would like to, he cannot comment regarding specific allegations.”
