Tom Brady Tweets Congratulation Message To Red Sox

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady didn’t attend the festivities at Fenway Park. The team was invited at the Red Sox opener, and about 20 players of the Patriots 2019 squad attended the event.

We don’t know anything about the reasons Brady had to skip the celebration. Fans were surprised to learn that he won’t attend the opener. The Red Sox played the Toronto Blue Jays. Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski and Stephon Gilmore threw out ceremonial first pitches. So, Brady took to his Twitter, and congratulated the Red Sox.

“I want to congratulate the @RedSox for dropping ANOTHER Boston banner today. I couldn’t make it but I think a couple Super Bowl Champs were there to help out! @RobGronkowski @Edelman11 @BumpNrunGilm0re,” the quarterback tweeted.

The event was a must see, and Red Sox fans were super thrilled about it.

“Growing up, I idolized Dustin Pedroia,” said 20-year-old Nicholas Luna, from San Antonio, Texas. “I’m hoping to see him tomorrow. It would be cool, his first official at-bat.”

“Dustin Pedroia has been one of my all-time favorites, ever,” noted Marcus Navarette, 24,  from Amarillo, Texas.

Navarette explained that he and his friends planned to attend Opening Day during last season’s World Series. This will be his first trip, and he won’t let the rain affect his mood.

“Man, my expectations are through the roof. We’re going to try to get here at 8 a.m. and just party through all of it. It’s going to be one of the best experiences ever,” he added.

Brothers Marcus and Jose Romo, 16 and 10, came from Santa Teresa, N.M., accompanied with their mom. They wore Red Sox sweatshirts and hats. This is like a dream come true for the brothers.

“It’s a dream I’ve had for a while, ever since I was a little kid,” he said. “We’re very excited, even in the rain.”

Giovanni Garay, of San Jose, Calif., raised the next generation of Sox fans. His two sons will sure grow up to be awesome fans. “The Red Sox fans are the best,” Giovanni said. “And they’re everywhere.”
