Video: Tom Brady Let Von Miller Know He Picked Code of Honor to Win Kentucky Derby

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is having some great time at the 2019 Kentucky Derby. The quarterback shared some great photos of the event, and he even met with Amazon CEO. Brady enjoys having fun with his former and current teammates. In an interview with Von Miller, Brady said Code of Honor would win the 145th Run for the Roses.

According to the official site of the Kentucky Derby, Code of Honor had 14-1 odds with less than an honor to go before the Derby. The website shows that Maximum Security (4-1) was the ultimate favorite. Improbable was 9-2, Tacitus was 5-1 and Game Winner went with 6-1.

The Patriots quarterback didn’t fail to mention he had Derby favorite Omaha Beach winning the race on Saturday. However, it was scratched from the first leg of the Triple Crown on Wednesday because of the entrapped epiglottis.

Well, Brady didn’t win his Kentucky Derby bet, but was really close. We all know that Brady likes a good long shot, because he decided to bet on Code of Honor.

The Code of Honor ended up finishing in second after the controversial finish at Churchill Downs. Code of Honor crossed the finish line in third, but went a place up after the original winner. Maximum Security was disqualified after it was ruled that he bumped another horse.

Brady didn’t win his bet, but had some really great time at the derby. He was accompanied by a bunch of NFL players.

Fans noticed that there was no sign of the tension between Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo. They didn’t have a really good relationship during their final year together in Foxboro. Garoppolo attends the Kentucky Derby, and he even hangs out with Brady. How do we know this? Brady shared a photo of his derby crew on Saturday.

If someone is ever interested in listing Brady’s backup quarterbacks, they should definitely use this photo. We can see Jacoby Brissett, Matt Cassel and Kliff Kingsbury. They all had a backup role in New England.

Kingsbury isn’t the only coach in the photo. Titans coach Mike Vrabel is there, too.
