Watch: Julian Edelman FaceTimed Into A Diplo Promo Video

Patriots receiver Julian Edelman is really busy this offseason, and he does much more than just working out with his favorite quarterback. If you think that the receiver spends his offseason relaxing and playing football, you are definitely wrong. Edelman was involved in several projects after the Super Bowl. He presented an award at the Grammys and went on Ellen’s show to shave his beard and auction it. This time the receiver did a project with EDM producer and DJ Diplo.

It’s a promotional video for the music festival that will take place at Gillette Stadium this summer. Rings a bell? Yes, this offseason is all fun and games for the receiver.

The video became viral and it was released in Massachusetts to promote the Diplo Presents The Super Mega Ultra Giant Mad Decent Block Party Festival. It’s the real name of the event, don’t worry.

The host comes out of colonial times, but is well aware with all the festival musical guests. Major Lazer, Billie Eilish, and G-Eazy. He even sees himself as one of the performers. Well, we don’t know if Diplo will take him into consideration after checking up on this demo.

Doplo gets a Facetime call from the Patriots receiver asking to remind him of the exact dates of the music festival. If you are interested in it, make sure July 20 and 21 are on your list of priorities. Edelman says he believes the Patriots have the field for practice that very weekend.

“We have the stadium locked in, right?” the DJ asks someone off screen.

“You should run it by old BB,” Edelman adds.
