Steve Kerr Reveals Kevin Durant’s Status For Game 4

The Golden State Warriors lost the game to the Toronto Raptors, and they played without their greatest talents. The team is 2-1 at the moment, and head coach Steve Kerr made a statement on Kevin Durant and his status for Game 4.

“Kevin will not play tomorrow,” Kerr told media members on Thursday. “He will continue to get treatment, get on the court and continue to work. But he will be unavailable for Game 4.

“I was hoping that today would be the day he could get back on the floor. It’s not going to be today, it’s going to be probably tomorrow … the following day … the next couple days. So the hope would be that he could still make it back at the end of the series. But there was no setback.”

Klay Thompson will probably suit up for Game 4.

“Klay will plan on playing tomorrow. So we expect him to play, barring something unforeseen.”

Stephen Curry is considered the most valuable player at the moment, and the team relies on him. However, that doesn’t change the fact that Durant is the best player on the Warriors roster.

Durant faced serious criticism, and hopefully things will change this summer. Unless he doesn’t join another team.

“It’s been that way since I got here, that it’s the Warriors and KD. I understand that. And I feel like my teammates and the organization know exactly what I’ve done – on and off the court – to become a part of this culture. I know what I bring to the team,’ he added. “But I also know a lot of people from the outside don’t like to see us together. I get it.

“It’s hard to get away from that because I watch the games and watch the lead-up to the games and that’s all everybody is talking about. From my perspective, I want to focus on rehab, but I also want to be a fan of my teammates. I want to enjoy my teammates from a different view.”Durant has been linked to several teams, including LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers.
