Tom Brady Sends Message To Kevin Durant After Warriors Star’s Surgery

Warriors star Kevin Durant suffered an Achilles injury, and he has already had a surgery. Numerous athletes issues messages of support for the star player, including Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady supports Durant and his battle because he had a similar injury. “You will be back better then ever….I have no doubt!!! ,” the quarterback wrote.

Durant informed his fans about the surgery, and it looks like he is in big pain.

“What’s good everybody I wanted to update you all: I did rupture my Achilles. Surgery was today and it was a success, EASY MONEY. My road back starts now! I got my family and my loved ones by my side and we truly appreciate all the messages and support people have sent our way.

“Like I said Monday, I’m hurting deeply, but I’m OK. Basketball is my biggest love and I wanted to be out there that night because that’s what I do. I wanted to help my teammates on our quest for the three peat. Its just the way things go in this game and I’m proud that I gave it all I physically could, and I’m proud my brothers got the W. It’s going to be a journey but I’m built for this. I’m a hooper. I know my brothers can get this Game 6, and I will be cheering  with dub nation while they do it.”

Charles Barkley criticized the Golden State for allowing Durant on the floor.

“You’ve been asking these guys all morning if there’s somebody to blame. Yes, there is somebody to blame: the Golden State Warriors for putting KD out there,” Barkley said during an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up on Tuesday morning. “Listen, that was not right. If you go back and look at the last two weeks—the article comes out, KD’s worst nightmare that the Warriors are winning without him. Then you come out, you read the articles, the Warriors are really unhappy that KD won’t risk his Achilles, they’re frustrated with KD.

“Now this man has to be feeling some type of way, so I blame the Warriors for KD getting hurt, and I don’t care what they say about it. They shouldn’t have put that man out there. You know how I know it? Because he blew out his Achilles.”
