Julian Edelman Rips Off Pair Of Funny Dad Jokes In Offseason Instagram Post

Julian Edelman is great, but parenting has made him a better person. Well, his humor is sharper than ever. Patriots players were really active on social networks, and Edelman joined the crowd. His dad jokes are hilarious!

Chase Winovich got a piece of the cake, too. He even teased Edelman and Brady, and fans enjoyed the show.

Edelman is more than ready for the Patriots training camp. Hopefully, 2019 will be better than 2018. Edelman wasn’t really good throughout the season, and he was even suspended. However, his postseason was golden.

“Edelman’s postseason heroics this past season generated some buzz over whether or not he was deserving of a spot in the Hall of Fame when he called it a career. To be fair, no wide receiver has come close to the production that Edelman has put up in the postseason in the PFF era. His 115 postseason receptions, 1,412 receiving yards and 79 first downs receiving are easily the most of any playoff receiver since 2006. However, Edelman simply hasn’t been a true top-flight wide receiver at any point in his career. The highest overall grade of his career came back in 2015 at 83.7 overall, but even that just ranked 16th out of 121 qualifying wideouts.”

Edelman has attracted the attention of numerous stars, including Jerry Rice.

Rice has nothing but praise for the Patriots receiver. ”People talk about, ‘Well, he’s not as fast and stuff.’ That was the same knock on me,” he told Jeff Howe of The Athletic. “They were saying I didn’t have that blazing speed. What Edelman has is a big heart. He wants to compete. He wants to be one of the best. He is going to make those difficult catches knowing that he’s going to get hit. You can’t ask for more in a receiver. Just like everybody feeds off Tom Brady, they also feed off Edelman.”

We have a few good reasons to believe that Edelman will earn a spot in the Patriots Hall of Fame. He deserves that and much more. But, first, let’s see his game in the 2019 season.
