Lakers’ LeBron James Receives Standing Ovation From Fans in Summer League (Video)

LeBron James is the greatest basketball player to ever walk on Earth, and his fans worship him. The king of basketball was honored with a standing ovation from the crowd as he made his way to the seat to watch the Los Angeles Lakers’ Summer League team play the Chicago Bulls.

King James wore his Laker-colored LeBron 3s when he arrived at the Thomas and Mack Center. He probably changed his mind, because reporters caught him sporting different shoes once joined the crowd to watch the contest.

LeBron will be accompanied by Anthony Davis, and they will also be in courtside to follow the game of Zion Williamson and the New Orleans to confront the New York Knicks.

The Lakers star didn’t look worried at all. The Lakers didn’t know anything about Kawhi Leonard and his free agency decision, and reporters don’t even hope to get an answer to any of their questions. LeBron wasn’t too involved in the team’s recruiting efforts, but he was definitely hoping to see Leonard wearing a Lakers uniform.

Did LeBron think that Kawhi would sign with the Los Angeles Clippers? We won’t get an answer to this question. Kawhi made a decision and he left the Raptors to go back home, this time wearing a Clippers uniform.

The Lakers waited for Kawhi’s decision as they have yet to complete Davis’ trade. The package includes the Pelicans, Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards.

We believe that LeBron didn’t even try too much to get Kawhi on the roster. He let the front office do the job, and he will welcome pretty much anyone who joins his team.

At this moment, LeBron has his full attention pointed at the Summer League.

He did the same last year. LeBron showed up for the Summer League last year right after he inked a four-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. The man is all about basketball, and that’s what makes him this great.

LeBron is an icon and many young players look up to him. He will have Davis by his side next season, and hopefully, LA will sign a few other brilliant players.
