Report: Warriors’ Coach Steve Kerr Spotted Riding Bart

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was spotted riding bart. Again. It seems like Kerr is fine with using this type of transport.

“Steve Kerr is a man of the people! Not above a Monday morning BART ride,” a Reddit user wrote and shared a photo of Kerr. You can see the Warriors head coach pressed up against the wall of the BART car. He looks like pretty much anyone who is using public transit.

The Warriors head coach isn’t above taking this type of transport even in busy hours.

“@SteveKerr enjoyed chatting with you on Bart this morning! Good luck with team USA in San Antonio this weekend!” wrote a user who rode the train with Kerr in June.

Two years ago, someone shared a photo of them and Kerr on a BART platform.

“Ran into @SteveKerr on @SFBART today. NBA stars. They are just like us. #DubNation #Warriors #BART,” the person wrote.

So, Kerr gets a lot of questions about his choice for public transit.

“Do you think bridge traffic slows down only for like…That bridge is no fun,” he said during a press conference. “BART is the way to go.”

Kerr is just like you and me. He even talks politics. Well, he talks politics a lot. He talked politics a few days ago when President Donald Trump criticized congressmen.

“Come on members of Congress, call out the president for his racist tweets this morning,” Kerr responded. “Show some leadership. It’s the job you were elected to do.”

He always does this. It’s inevitable.

“Kerr often uses his platform as an NBA coach to speak out about issues that are important to him” Ryan Young from Yahoo Sports wrote. “During the NBA Finals last season, Kerr even wore an orange and purple ‘Vote For Our Lives’ T-shirt to urge Americans to vote for leaders who will help create change regarding gun control, an issue the 53-year-old has long been passionate about.

“The fallout from Trump’s tweets isn’t likely to die down anytime soon. As that continues, it’s almost certain that Kerr — along with countless others in the sports world — will be paying close attention.”
