Fight Breaks Out at Patriots-Titans Joint Practice With Stephon Gilmore Involved

The New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans are having joint practices, and it went bad. Well, sort of. Can you add a fight to a regular practice schedule? If yes, Stephon Gilmore should be the star of it.

Titans rookie wide receiver AJ Brown isn’t backing down from others, and he even had the courage to go after one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. The joint practice turned into a mess when Brown and Pro Bowl New England corner Gilmore got into a heated altercation during practice. A bunch of players got into the thing, and the fight was brought to an end real fast. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel and general manager Jon Robinson prevented a greater problem.

Devin McCourty got into the fight, too. Defensive back Terrence Brooks and wide receiver Tajae Sharpe were also involved.

“FIGHT! A.J. Brown and Stephon Gilmore went at it after the whistle during 11-on-11s. Devin McCourty, Terrence Brooks and Tajae Sharpe then jumped in, followed by the rest of the team. Mike Vrabel finally sprinted over and yelled some NSFW things to break it up.”

We believe this is just the beginning. Things will get messy on the field, and Brown won’t take a step back. The same works for Gilmore.

The dude wears long sleeves when it’s super-hot, so he won’t have trouble dealing with Brown.

This wasn’t the only problem during the practice.

“Matt Patricia and J.J. Watt exchanged four-lettered pleasantries in practice today. Patricia seemed upset that Watt got too close to Stafford during RZ drills, Watt told him [redacted], and Patricia told him [redacted].”
