LeBron James’ Short Message Keeps Lance Stephenson Motivated Ahead Of Terrific 12 Semis

LeBron James knows how to motivate Lance Stephenson prior to the East Asia League Terrific 12 semifinals.

LeBron is a one-time rival and teammate of Stephenson. He commented in one of Stephenson’s post. This message means a lot for Stephenson, and he is ready to keep moving forward after falling out of the NBA.

“You know, Lebron is my teammate, we compete against each other. He just encourages me to be better and get better this season,” he said during the presentation of the teams taking part in the Terrific 12 Final Four on Friday afternoon.

LeBron played with Stephenson last season. “Yes sir, getting your ½ spring back! Keep going Born,” wrote LeBron.

Stephenson replied with a simple comment, “Yes sir my brother.”

Stephenson is happy with his currnent situation. He led the Flying Leopards to a 2-0 record in the group stage.

“Right now, I’m just having fun, (trying to) learn my teammates, my coach. I’m just having fun out there. Every game that I played is like a championship game. So when I go out there on the floor, I want to win.

“My goal is to learn my teammates as much as possible so when the season is there, we’ll be ready for any competition,” he added. “When I’m on that floor, I try to bring it every game.”

LeBron has high opinion of his former teammate. He had words of praise for Stephenson last season.

“I love Lance. Like I said, he’ll run through a wall for any one of his teammates. Lance makes mistakes, but at the end of the day, it’s for the winning of the team. He’s never doing anything to try to alienate himself away from the team. He plays hard. Extremely hard. Guy makes mistakes, but they giving all they got 110%, you can ride with that, so I’m happy to have him.”

LeBron will be entering his 17^th season in the NBA. He missed the playoffs last season, and that won’t happen this season. The Los Angeles Lakers reinforced their roster, and it looks like they will have more success in the 2019-20 season.
