Ron Artest Says LeBron Was Prepared To Shred NBA Superstars As A Sophomore

LeBron James is entering his 17th season in the NBA. He is playing his second season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Last season, LeBron suffered a terrible groin injury that kept him away of the floor for 55 games. The Lakers played really smart this offseason and acquired a bunch of talented players. Anthony Davis is one of them. He plans to become the Defensive Player of the Year, and LeBron mentioned something like leading the offense through Davis. We can easily say that LeBron is the GOAT now, but Ron Artest says he was doing magic long before playing in Cleveland and Miami.

According to Artest, LeBron was embarrassing NBA superstars as a sophomore in high school. He played a pickup game against Michael Finley, Jerry Stackhouse and many others. Artest noted that LeBron was 225 at the time, and he was “cooking” the best players on the planet.

Have you watched the documentary about LeBron’s early beginnings? It was more than obvious that he’d grow up to be a big star one day.

LeBron is a Laker now, and he is really happy with his current home. He likes how Rob Pelinka and the rest of the front office run the team. They struggled in 2018, but this season will be their greatest success.

“I think Rob (Pelinka), Kurt (Rambis), Linda (Rambis) and Jeanie (Buss) and everybody else did a hell of a job this summer. From acquiring AD to acquiring everyone that’s a part of this team, to bringing back the guys that were free agents last year, bringing them back to the roster, they did a hell of a job, and… hand-picking the coaching staff as they did.

“Throughout all the bull that was narrated for our franchise, and narrated going towards Rob and the beautiful people that we have upstairs, they just kept their blinders on and focused on what they had to do to help this franchise be as competitive as they can be… I think they did a hell of a job, and I’m happy to be a Laker.”

The Lakers are about to play some real basketball. Game on!
