Watch: Patriots’ Locker Room Celebration After Destroying The Bills

The New England Patriots had a lot of success against the Buffalo Bills, and the Patriots nation is celebrating. Well, Patriots players and coaches celebrated, too. You know, their usual locker room celebration.

The Patriots fought to a 16-10 win over the Bills. Buffalo was on fire, and their players had a better game than they had in the previous seasons. Head coach Bill Belichick praised his players in the locker room and during his post-game press conference.

“Let’s keep fighting, let’s keep believing,” the head coach said.

Belichick is really proud of his players and everything they achieved on the field.

Great team effort by our guys, really proud of our players,” he said in the opening statement of the press conference. “They stepped up, showed a lot of mental and physical toughness in this game. Obviously the Bills are a good football team, played very well, they have a lot of great players, well coached, tough. Our guys just started making more plays, and really competed for 60 minutes. We knew that’s what it’s going to take here, and they really responded to that. It’s good to get a division win on the road, and I’m really happy for our team, I’m really proud of the way they competed here. This was a tough football game, tough place to play.”

He even defended Jonathan Jones.

“I think [senior VP of officiating] Al Riveron talked about the play yesterday, and that’s what we have to go by. So we’ll coach it based on what Al’s guidelines or commentary was on the play,” Belichick said Monday.

When asked what he’d tell a player who tried to pull out a play but ended up drawing a penalty flag, Belichick said, “When there really isn’t much you can tell him to do differently, then I think you don’t tell him anything. I mean, Allen’s a big runner. He’s a strong guy. He’s hard to tackle. He certainly broke several tackles against us. Jon turned when he hit [Allen]; he didn’t lead with his head. He didn’t have that posture.

The Patriots are playing the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
