Watch: Jamie Collins’ Forced Fumble, Kyle Van Noys Steals The Ball For Pats’ TD

The New England Patriots are playing a home game against the New York Giants, and the offense struggles on the field. But the defense is pretty strong, and the same applies to special teams. The Patriots had another six-pointer, and this time it came from a fumble recovery for a touchdown. Jamie Collins dislodged the ball from Jonathan Hilliman’s hands, and Kyle Van Noy took it for a score.

Jamie Collins’ arrival in New England happened at the right time. The Patriots wanted him on the roster, and he was really surprised.

“I was surprised,” Collins told reporters back in May of his return to the Patriots. “But then again, I wasn’t, because I’m just a free agent, so obviously a lot of teams are going to contact me or whatever. That’s just the business of the game. I’m always surprised no matter what. I’m surprised right now just being in the position.

I mean, I started here. I had the opportunity to come out and start my career here. Obviously, yes, that played a big factor. Like I said, whatever opportunity presents itself, it’s not just me. I’ve got other people to think about as well. It’s a team thing.”

Duron Harmon was the first to express his excitement.

“He’s excited to be back, so that’s always good when the excitement is there,” the safety told media members at Gillette Stadium of Collins’ return. “I’m really just looking forward to seeing him out there, seeing him play with us again, building that chemistry, being teammates again and doing everything we can to make sure we got the best defense we can come the first game.”

When it comes to the game against the Giants, New England is definitely winning despite all the struggles and injuries players had throughout the season. Tom Brady has already discussed the offensive struggles his team had, and he had words of praise for the defensive players. Well, the Patriots have the best defense in the league at the moment, and that’s what makes them so special. And undefeated, of course. This is yet another win in the row.
