Kyle Kuzma Drain Two Clutch 3-Pointers As LeBron’s Lakers Eclipse Suns

Kyle Kuzma saw some incredible action in the Los Angeles Lakers’ effort to defeat the Phoenix Suns. The young Laker “clicked” to drain two clutch three-pointers as his team bounced back to earn a 123-115 road win over the Suns.

Kuzma hit back-to-back threes in the final three minutes of the tough battle against Phoenix, right after the Suns took a 113-111 lead with 3min 29sec left at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.

LeBron James’ three-pointer put the team 114-113 ahead before his younger teammate stretched the lead to 120-113.

The young Laker had been trying to find his rhythm all season, and he feels like every game he’s been getting better with his rhythm and timing on the floor. He is well aware of the fact that he can shoot, and that helped him finish with 23 points off the bench. Anthony Davis led the team with 24 points and 12 rebounds.

“I’ve been finding my rhythm all season,” Kuzma said of his late three-pointers. “I feel like every single game I’ve been getting better with my rhythm and timing. It kind of clicked a little bit. I know I can shoot.”

Kyle Kuzma goes strong against the Suns

LeBron scored 19 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds. The Lakers had an instant return to winning ways following the loss to the Raptors.

King James praised the performance of Kuzma, adding that he had never doubted his ability to contribute.

Kuzma’s excellence came at the right time, and the Lakers really needed his boost against the Suns. The Lakers know that “Kuz” is capable of many things, and they couldn’t wait to get the best of him. He was really patient, and took the shots that arrived on his side.

“It was only a matter of time,” LeBron said. “And it came at the right time, against a tough team. It was great to have the Kuz that we know he’s capable of. He was very patient, took the shots that came to him … Kuz is a huge piece of this puzzle.”

The Lakers are 8-2 at this point of the regular season and dominate the Western Conference. Head coach Frank Vogel is doing an incredible job, and we can see that.

The Suns are 6-4. Devin Booker and Ricky Rubio led the team with 21 points each.

It’s a long season, and pretty much every team hopes to score big points. The Los Angeles Lakers have an incredible game, and they are already considered favorites. Hopefully, they will stay healthy to extend the win streak and even make the playoffs. That will be a huge surprise for a team that hasn’t won a title since Kobe Bryant’s retirement.
