Tom Brady Addresses Rumors About Antonio Brown Possibly Rejoining Patriots

The New England Patriot struggle on the offense, and they could really use some help on the field. Antonio Brown was a perfect addition for the team. Well, he was accompanied with too many problems, and the Patriots didn’t need all the negative publicity. Brown was waived after the threatening messages he sent to one woman. The troubled receiver was too frustrated, and he started talking stuff about Patriots owner Robert Kraft and the NFL. Well, Brown changed his mind, and issued an apology to the Patriots owner. Kraft may end up accepting the apology, and Brown may play with the Patriots again. Remember how some said that Tom Brady made him write the tweet?

Bringing Brown back makes a good chance, because the Patriots are really concerned about their offensive production. The troubled wideout may return if he is ruled eligible to play.

Brady talked about this possibility during his convo with Jim Gray of Westwood One on Thursday.

TB12 said these discussions are not up to him. Brady doesn’t make a decision when it comes to cutting or signing players. According to him, people in the personnel department make those decisions. His job is to play quarterback, and he is trying to do that in the best way possible.

The Patriots quarterback isn’t really interested in speaking about possible additions, especially if that involves signing a controversial player like Antonio Brown.

“I don’t think those decisions honestly are up to me,” Brady said. “They are not up to me when we cut players or sign players. I think the people in the personnel department decide those things. My job is to play quarterback and that is what I am trying to do as well as I possibly can.”

NBC Sports Boston’s Tom E. Curran reported the Patriots aren’t interested in having Brown back on the roster. In other words, these rumors can be shut down.

Brady and his team are playing the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday for an excellent Week 12 game. It will be an important game for the Patriots nation as everyone hopes for another win. The only game New England lost was the Week 9 contest against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Patriots have the strong defense in the NFL, and that helps them win games. Brady uses the defense really well, but he is disappointed by the offense. TB12 couldn’t his frustration during the post-game press conference. Hopefully, his teammates will get better. They need more points.
