LeBron Told The Perfect Way To Elevate Himself Above MJ In GOAT Race

LeBron James is the GOAT. The Lakers superstar can add another string to his bow in the GOAT debate. He may lead the team to a record-breaking season, and things look really good for the Lakers at the moment. LeBron will seal his GOAT status by breaking one particular record.

NBA expert Chris Broussard insists that King James has to break the Golden State Warriors’ record to pass Michael Jordan. This achievement would be enough for Jordan’s army to understand that LeBron is much better than MJ.

Los Angeles had a brilliant start in the regular season. The team is 22-3 at this point of the season, and this puts them on top of the Western Conference.

LeBron leads the team with the help of former New Orleans Pelicans Anthony Davis. According to Broussard, LeBron has been the best player in the NBA so far but also reckons that he may have his eye on entering history books.

The Warriors hold the record for the best win-loss record in a regular season. They had a 73-9 record in 2016. The Golden State Warriors didn’t win the NBA championship. Jordan’s Chicago Bulls have a 72-10 record in 1996 and they won the title that season.

The GOAT is on a mission

The team was led by the great Jordan and Broussard says this may be on LeBron’s mind if the season keeps developing this good for Los Angeles.

“I think the Lakers have the best chance of breaking the Warriors 73 win season record,” he told Fox Sports. “Now I am not saying that they will do it or that they are even talking about it privately.

“But I wouldn’t be surprised if way in the back recesses of LeBron’s mind, he would love to get that regular season record because it is just another notch on your belt. It’s another way you top Michael Jordan and I think LeBron also has the audacity as he should to believe that he could win 74 games and win the NBA championship. Jordan did it with 72 and the championship and I don;t see Lakers going to load management until right at the end of the season.”
