Tom Brady Provides Update On His Injured Elbow After Loss To Dolphins

Is Tom Brady great at the moment? The Patriots quarterback has been wearing ice packs on his throwing elbow in the last few postgame news conferences of the regular season. On Sunday, the GOAT was shaking his arm during the warmups on the sideline. However, Brady said the New England Patriots’ 27-24 loss to the Miami Dolphins wasn’t a result of health issue.

“(My arm) is doing good,” Brady said Monday morning during his appearance on WEEI’s “Greg Hill Show.” “I don’t have any problems. I have no injuries. I’ve said it a lot. I feel good. There’s no injury, no nothing. I wish I would have played better, and that’s about it.”

Brady completed 16 of 29 passes for 221 yards with two touchdowns and an interception against the Dolphins. He had issues on several passes and went just 10-for-23 on throws to wide receivers. Safety Eric Rowe returned Brady’s pick for a score to give Miami a 10-0 lead in the second quarter.
TB12 has not been added to the Patriots’ injury report since before the team’s Week 15 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

“I mean, it’s football,” Brady said on WEEI. “You get hit. I got hit a few times on my elbow, and that’s part of football. I’m sure basically every player in the league has ice bags after games and is feeling different things. That’s just part of the sport. I’m feeling good. I’m feeling really good.”

This was an unexpected loss for the Patriots as pretty much everyone thought that the Patriots would win this game. Well, they earned a wild-card weekend, and players have to play another weekend. This isn’t too bad for the Patriots nation, but players will do their best to win their game. How will the head coach handle this pressure? Bill Belichick is the greatest head coach in the NFL, and he always has a solution to every problem. New England had to take things seriously, but Brian Flores and the Miami Dolphins had a few tricks to use against them. Will New England win the Super Bowl this season?
