Watch: Tom Brady Finds Matt LaCosse For A 8-Yard Touchdown

The New England Patriots are playing the Buffalo Bills at Gillette Stadium. It’s a defensive struggle, and the Bill’s D had the first punch. Jordan Poyer jarred the football from Patriots’ Rex Burkhead’s arms following his 18-yard run, and fellow safety Micah Hyde recovered for an early takeaway. NFL analysts have discussed the Patriots’ need for production from their secondary weapons. The team pulled out a 75-yard touchdown drive, and Julian Edelman and James White accounted for 6 of these. Powerful running behind Elandon Roberts and clutch finish with N’Keal Harry and Ben Watson helped Matt LaCosse hit his first touchdown as a Patriot.

The score tied Patriots quarterback Tom Brady with Peyton Manning for second on the league’s all-time passing touchdowns list. LaCosse is the 76th player to snatch a touchdown pass from the GOAT.

Josh Allen was unable to connect with a wide-open Cole Beasley on third down, pushing Buffalo to punt. Former Patriot Corey Bojorquez had a successful delivery, and pinned the Patriots at their own 1-yard line.

This will be a rather tough game for both teams. New England has already met with Buffalo in Week 4. They won the game, but it was a tough win. Head coach Bill Belichick had the right formula to win the game, and his guys won it. It was a close score, but you can’t ignore the win.

The same thing will probably happen again. New England struggles on offense, and Tom Brady tries to motivate his teammates to score more points. It doesn’t really work, but the defense makes up for the damage.

New England will finish the season with a game against an easy opponent. The Miami Dolphins will arrive in Foxboro next week, and it will be just a routine for the Patriots. The Dolphins aren’t a tough opponent this season. Let’s not forget that they have signed a bunch of Patriots this season. They also have Brian Flores. Maybe he will help his team challenge the Patriots with some of the tricks Belichick uses on his players. It’s an interesting season, and we can’t wait to see the grand finale.
