New Team Emerges Among Favorites To Sign Tom Brady

Things are getting really tight in New England. It looks like the New England Patriots may lose their star quarterback in free agency. According to recent reports, the Patriots are no longer favorites. Another team has shown greater interest to sign the big Tom Brady. Can you make any guesses?

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Tennessee Titans lead the race now. He made his report upon information presented by Jeff Darlington. The Las Vegas Raiders are No. 2, and the Patriots are on position No. 3. Things have changed a lot in the past few days.

“This is going to be the most interesting question of the offseason. … Jeff Darlington is a lot more connected to that particular situation than I think a lot of people realize. And in talking with him yesterday — and my eyes were opened to this. I mean I always thought this was possible but I got even more of a hint that it’s more possible. Jeff Darlington basically … I mean, handicapped the Titans as the favorite right now. Which I was like, ‘Whoa. OK. I knew that Tennessee was an option,’ but he made it out to be more of an option than I realized it to be. And in his mind, to rank the teams right now, would be Tennessee, Las Vegas, and New England.”

Will Tom Brady sign with a new team?

This changes everything. Brady has spent his entire career with the Patriots. He likes the team. He likes his teammates and head coach. The Patriots have had a month to negotiate with TB12 on his contract. This was supposed to give them some sort of an advantage.

Numerous reports have confirmed that Brady and his team haven’t even touched the topic. Brady has a great relationship with Mike Vrabel, and the Titans can really use this connection. The Raiders, on the other hand, play in a new city and their coach – Jon Gruden – is really great.

TB12 will hit the open market on March 18, and teams can start negotiations on March 16. Where will Brady go in 2020? Will he leave the Patriots?
