Kobe Bryant’s rise to the basketball stars began even before he ever reached the NBA and joined the Los Angeles Lakers. Back when he was in high school, Kobe was one of the top players in the country at Lower Merion near Philadelphia. Anyone who had the chance to witness him playing during his time there has plenty of stories to tell.
Some never-before-published photos of Kobe Bryant’s high school days have been released by USA Today, giving fans a cool glimpse of what he looked like when he was still a teen.

It is odd to see Bryant in anything other than a Lakers jersey. But, we’re sure any Kobe fan would love to see these pictures that have emerged. The gym at his alma mater is rightfully named after him.

Those in Ardmore, Penn. have been honoring Bryant’s memory and will continue to do so. Tributes of Kobe and his daughter Gianna are being showcased around the world, with more and more people expressing their love for the two.
The Tragic Loss For The Basketball World
Bryant and eight other people, including his daughter Gianna, lost their lives in a helicopter crash. They were traveling to a basketball tournament at the Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks. The Lakers legend was supposed to coach Gigi’s Lady Mamba team.
It was an unexpected loss, and the basketball world grieves. The Lakers arrived in Los Angeles right after the crash, and LeBron couldn’t hide his tears. Losing Bryant was a nightmare for every NBA fan. But every single person in the basketball world will without a doubt keep The Mamba’s legacy alive.
