Julian Edelman Makes Incredibly Dramatic Reaction to Super Bowl Sunday

For the first time since Super Bowl 50, the AFC representatives in the Super Bowl will be someone other than Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, and the New England Patriots. Edelman, however, isn’t exactly thrilled that Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will be the ones to take on Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. Take a look at his dramatic reaction:

We all sympathise with Edelman, but dropping 13 passes, a whopping 8.5% of the targets are not the numbers fitting for a Super Bowl contender. Perhaps losing a playoff game at home to Ryan Tannehill wasn’t a prudent decision, either.

Edelman was plagued with injuries and he was pushed away from the postseason. The Patriots wideout will turn 34 in May, and he is definitely ready to return to the field. His motivation is stronger than ever, and Edelman won’t make a step back. He won’t stay calm and do nothing. The dramatic reaction was a little unnecessary, but we’ll let that go.

Patriots Drove Kansas City To Super Bowl

By beating the Chiefs in the 2019 AFC Championship Game, the Patriots crushed Kansas City running back Damien Williams’ dreams.

Instead of being in Atlanta, where Super Bowl LIII was scheduled to take place, Williams gazed at the state-of-the-art arena from a distance.

“We’re supposed to be in this stadium,” Williams remembered. “There was nothing that said we weren’t.”

Then, over the course of 12 months, it was New Endland who drove him to the Super Bowl.

“I was telling myself that then and speaking that into existence that we’re going to be in the Super Bowl next year. And we’re not going to let anybody stop us,” Williams said. “Every man on that team who returned had that feeling. That’s why I feel like we’re here.”

The Chiefs universally agreed on several things ahead of Super Bowl LIV. Among them is that the Pats have been foundational to their success. The regular-season win at New England in December sparked a belief they could beat anyone.

“It kind of sucked getting that close last year and knowing you have to go through training camp, you have to go through 17 more weeks of football, you have to go through two rounds of the playoffs to get to the AFC Championship,” said Kansas City left tackle Erich Fisher. “I just think we were bound and determined to do whatever we had to do to get here right now.”
