Vikings WR Stefon Diggs’ Latest Activity Fuels Patriots Trade Speculations

The New England Patriots had hard time coping with the lack of talented wide receivers on the roster. They added and released a bunch of players, and there was no happy ending for the greatest NFL team this season. Julian Edelman was the most productive wideout on the roster, and Mohamed Sanu joined the team too late in the season. The Patriots struggled on offense, and it looks like this will be a top priority for the team. Adding weapons to the offense is the biggest priority for the team. New England blasted the entire league with its offensive explosiveness. In 2019, they were eliminated in the Wild Card game. There are so many options on the open market that could give the Patriots some help. They will sure try to get a wideout through a trade. Is Stefon Diggs an option for the Patriots?

The Minnesota Vikings star has just placed himself on the trade block. Diggs removed all the Vikings-related content from his Instagram account. What does this mean? Fans couldn’t see any Vikings photos or videos. The team wasn’t even mentioned in Diggs’ “bio” section.

What did just happen?

Will Stefon Diggs join the Patriots?

This added fuel to the “Diggs-to-the-Pats” rumor, and the social media exploded. Everyone is talking about Diggs and his contract with the Patriots.

Making a move to add Diggs to the roster would give the Patriots a lot of depth. The receiving unit lacks depth, and he may be the perfect fit for quarterback Tom Brady. Brady will hit the open market on March 18.

Diggs has four years remaining on his deal and the Vikings’ asking price will probably be really high. He was able to catch 63 passes for 1,230 yards and six touchdowns in 2019. He is definitely a nice fit for the Patriots organization. But, is Bill Belichick willing to give a lot of money to get Diggs? Yes, Robert Kraft signs the checks, but Belichick makes the decision when it comes to signing or releasing players. Is Diggs coming to New England? The Patriots nation went wild. The idea of seeing him put on a Patriots jersey is awesome!
