Friday’s game was an incredible showdown between King James and the 10 years younger Giannis. These two lead the race for the MVP title this season. Although some say that Giannis is the NBA MVP favorite this season, LeBron will sure snatch the award.

What makes LeBron the perfect MVP candidate?

He makes his teammates better. The MVP award should consider the value to their franchise. LeBron is really important for the Lakers this season. King James is averaging a league-high 10.7 assists per game. When he is in the game, the team allows 8.2 fewer points per 100 possessions versus the 7.6 fewer allowed by Milwaukee and Giannis. LeBron arrived in LA right on time, and he is the only player to gain this much success.

LeBron is the right MVP candidate

King James is incredibly versatile. Anthony Davis knows it best.  “Basically he can do everything on the floor. He can shoot the ball, he can pass, he gets everyone involved. He can take over games.” LeBron is a forward, but he knows too many tricks when it comes to embarrassing an opponent.

King James has the ability to predict a play before it even happens. He has a diverse skillset and a lot of experience. Los Angeles players can easily adapt to the teams they play. If a rival gets sharp, the Lakers can do a few adjustments and still win the game. LeBron doesn’t need too much time to adjust to a game. He has the power to predict a player’s move. That’s what makes him so brilliant.

LeBron is taking his team to the NBA Finals this season. He promised to win a title with the Lakers, and that’s exactly where he’s going now. The win over Milwaukee gives him extra motivation. It’s not like he needs any. LeBron is in his 17^th NBA season, and his game is sharper than ever. Aging has nothing on his skills, and he is ready to give the best of him.
