LeBron James Shares Truth On Why He Didn’t Play Football In His Senior Year In HS

Lakers superstar LeBron James had already made a name for himself in high school. He was a big star at St. Vincent-St. Mary. In his junior year, LeBron was called “The Chosen One.” But, LeBron was a highly anticipated high school basketball prospect of all time. LeBron was also the No. 1 football prospect in Ohio.

King James took to his Instagram account to share the reasons he had to skip out on football in his senior year. According to him, the boys at the basketball team promised to beat him up. Of course, they’d do that if he had ever stepped on a football field.

LeBron and his football skills

We all know that LeBron was a multi-sport athlete. He had incredible athletic skills. He did a great job on the football field. This doesn’t even come as a surprise.

“My homie @mister1223 just sent this to me from his son. His son said ‘I didn’t know Bron was #1 prospect in Ohio??’ He said ‘Yeah Bron was nice in football too.’ His son response ‘THATS CRAZY!’ 60 reception, 1200 yards and 16 touchdowns my Junior year at WR. ?.Men Lie, Women Lie, Numbers Don’t. Didn’t even play my senior year(I wanted to so BADLY) because my boys @siancotton_ @druondemand @chillwill03 @rometrav @brandonweems10 @frankiewalkersr wouldn’t let me. They said if I tried to step on a football field my senior year they would jump me every day of practice until I had enough! Think I made a smart decision! Ha! Anyways you LB/CB/S can thank my homies I stayed over in the hoops lane or would have been plenty of highlights “Moss’d” on y’all”

Can you imagine seeing LeBron as a football player? He’d be the GOAT. Would he be as great as he is on the basketball court? But, we are used to seeing him on the court. That’s why he should stay there. He has won three titles, and there’s a huge chance for him to win the fourth one. But, the NBA suspended the regular season, and he may not see the court again. Some say this is the end of the season. If this happens, things will change a lot. We’d all bear the consequences.
