LeBron James and Anthony Davis Join Kobe-Shaq in NBA Record Books With Historic Feat

LeBron James is going into the NBA record books. The Los Angeles Lakers are working towards another finals appearance. Most people think that they are one of the favorites to get there this year. However, after game 1, many fans and experts alike were a bit shocked to see the Lakers struggle so much.

It looks like Anthony Davis and LeBron James have finally come to play for real, though.

James and the Lakers lost game one and took that as motivation for the rest of the series. For now, it looks like the Lakers are not going to let the Blazers get back into this series. This is what a number one seed is supposed to look like.

Game three started with a pretty slow start from the Lakers. The Trail Blazers started off blazing but quickly let up. LeBron James was a huge force in the first half and Anthony Davis in the second. This was obvious throughout the game.

Now the duo are breaking records all over the place.

They sure are getting back on track now. It will be fun to see what they can do in the future together as well.

James talked about his relationship with Davis after the game.

“When you know yourself and you’re confident in what you do and you know what you represent, there’s no ego,” the Lakers star said. “We want both of us to succeed. We want our families to be happy and each other to be as happy as possible.”

LeBron has talked about Davis in the past.

“There’s no added pressure,” James said. “Just go out and be A.D. A.D. is dominant when he steps out on the floor before they’re even starting the stats. And so I think he’s looking forward to the opportunity of being back in the postseason again and as well as his teammates.”

“He’ll do everything,” James added. “Davis does everything. He handles the ball for us. He posts up. He’s on the perimeter. He’s the Defensive Player of the Year. I mean, there’s nothing to even (discuss).”
