Patriots Star Rips Reporter’s ‘Idiot’ Tom Brady Opt-Out Theory

There is a very interesting Tom Brady theory going around. The New England Patriots have been very involved in the NFL off season. Most people seem to agree that Cam Newton will be the replacement for the legendary Tom Brady.

Patrick Chung has decided to opt out of the 2020 season. He explained that he wants to play the season, but his family’s health is always more important.

“I’m in the latter end of my career, so I wanted to play football,” he said this week. “But when it comes down to it, I feel that money is not that important. I have a girlfriend that’s pregnant, a baby girl coming soon, my son has a little asthma, my dad is 75 years old. We just felt like this was the best decision for my family to keep everyone safe. I don’t think it’s fair to them.”

There is one reporter who is saying that maybe Bill Belichick is behind all of these opt outs.

“I think that a lot of those players are like, ‘Do I want to do that to go in there and go 7-9 with Jarrett Stidham or Cam Newton or whatever we’re trying to do? If Brady was there though, I don’t think 7-9 would be in the conversation, so no, I don’t think there would be this many players opting out because they would be championship caliber.”

It is nice to see a player stand up for the rest of the team. It would not be the first time the media tries to make something up about a team they know nothing about. Bill Belichick has already made it clear he completely stands with his players.

“We all have to make decisions,” Belichick said to reporters previously during a call. “I talked to those guys and they explained their situation, and they had to make the decision that was best for them, and I totally respect and support it 100 percent.”
