LeBron James’ Latest Comments Prove How Truly Unfazed He Is by Playing Against Houston Rockets

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are getting ready to take on the Houston Rockets in the second round of the NBA playoffs. The Lakers have their sights set on the Finals. This would be the first time in many years that the Lakers managed to get to the Finals. But LeBron is not worried, he knows that his team has what it takes to get their.

The Houston Rockets managed to take care of the Oklahoma City Thunder in 7 games. It was a series full of highs and lows. Eventually, they were able to pull out the victory and they now have the tall task of taking on the Lakers. The Lakers were easily one of the favorites to win the finals this year.

LeBron James seems very unconcerned about going against the Rockets, however. They do have a very small line up, and shoot lots of threes. But this is not something that LeBron is worried about in this series.

“It’s five guys vs. five guys. It is basketball. It’s not the first time I’ve went against five guys that shoot threes in my basketball life,” he said.

Mike D’Antoni, Houston’s head coach, is know for his run and jump style offense. They love to shoot threes and they play incredibly fast. Now, the Lakers will also have to have their eyes on Russell Westbrook. He was injured through much of the first series. Now, it looks like he is ready to get back on track. Almost half of their shots come from 3-point range.

The Lakers might not to be worried, but the should at least respect what Houston could do. We all remember what happened when they did not respect their appointment before. They got beat handily in game 1 of the first round by the Portland Trail Blazers.

Houston should be a pretty formidable foe. However, if LeBron James and Anthony Davis are able to play at the top of their game, they should be able to pull out the victory.
