Patriots Release List Of Inactives For Week 3 Game vs Raiders

The New England Patriots have officially released the Inactive list for Week 3 vs the Las Vegas Raiders. It has been a good start to the season for the Patriots for the most part. Cam Newton and the offense has been pretty impressive so far and it has been a fresh take. They needed a change after the disappointing 2019 season.

But all eyes will be on the Patriots once again. There is a freshly updated inactive list that has been released and some of the names are fairly note worthy. Take a look.

Here’s the Patriots’ fully inactive list:

QB Jarrett Stidham
RB James White (personal reason)
TE Dalton Keene
OT Korey Cunningham
LB Anfernee Jennings
CB Myles Bryant

Patriots Release List Of Inactives For Week 3 Game vs Raiders

There are a few notes on this list.

The Patriots have placed their center David Andrews and linebacker Josh Uche on the injured reserve on Saturday. As a result, they signed center James Ferentz and brought up tackle Nick Thurman and wide receiver Isaiah Zuber from the practice squad. The Patriotswere required to declare six players inactive due to them needing 54 players eligible to take the field Sunday.

It looks like Brian Hoyer will continue to be the back up of Cam Newton at quarterback as Stidham is down to third-string duties.

White has been gone from the team due to the death of his father on Sunday of last week. The Patriots now have Sony Michel, Rex Burkhead and J.J. Taylor at running back. Damien Harris will be ready to come off the IR next week.

Keene has not yet made his NFL debut. He’s not ready to come off the IR next week which should be good. Keene is one of two of the 2020 picks on the IR right now. Jennings is also on the IR. Safety Kyle Dugger, tight end Devin Asiasi, offensive linemen Michael Onwenu and Justin Herron and linebacker Cassh Maluia are the picks from the 2020 draft who will be ready to play.

It sounds like the Patriots will be ready to come out strong. What do you think of the list?
