Watch: Refs Are Getting Crushed For Blown Call In Patriots vs Chiefs

The New England Patriots traveled to Kansas City to meet the Chiefs for their Week 4 game. It’s a challenging game against the Patrick Mahomes-led team. Things go back and forth for players on both teams. But, refs faced criticism for their ruling in the Patriots vs Chiefs game.

Fans of other teams won’t really feel bad for the Patriots. But, refs did hose them on a Mahomes fumble.

Patriots players found strength to confront Mahomes and his teammates in the first half of the game. In the second quarter, New England’s defense had a huge takeaway deep in the Chiefs’ territory.

Refs take a different role in Patriots vs Chiefs game

Chase Winovich was trying to bring Mahomes down when Deatrich Wise Jr. set the ball free in Shilique Calhoun’s hands. Many would agree that this was supposed to be a fumble recovery or even an interception. None of that happened. Refs blew the play dead, explaining that the Chiefs quarterback was in the grasp. So, instead of taking possession, New England players argued the call.

There are some positive things about this game though. Patriots players are in a perfect shape. Kansas City has an incredible offense, but Pats found a way to limit it to only six points in the first half of the game.

New England entered the game without Cam Newton, and it was quite a challenge for the team to confront the defending Super Bowl champions.

Kansas City entered the game with three straight wins. Patriots players won the season opener against the Miami Dolphins but lost one game. Will they be able to keep the Chiefs under control or even win this game?

Head coach Bill Belichick and his crew prepared players really well for this game. New England went through a lot of obstacles this year, and playing against Kansas City seems like a piece of cake. Cam Newton tested positive and he is asymptomatic. If he doesn’t develop any symptoms, the Patriots can have him by Friday. The Tennessee Titans deal with a different scenario right now.
