LeBron James Gave Cam Newton Special Shoutout After Patriots Win Over Jets

LeBron James gave Cam Newton a special shoutout after the Patriots win over the Jets. It is rare when we get to see a Patriots and Lakers cross over. LeBron James is still coming off of a huge title run this season. He and his Lakers teammates were very impressive in the playoffs this season and it was awesome to see.

But it was not very easy for LeBron. He was very outspoken on how hard it was to stay in the NBA bubble for so long. Take a look at what he said shortly before the Lakers won the title.

“I am here for one reason and one reason only, and that’s to compete for a championship,” James said. “And that was my mindset once I entered the bubble, once I entered the quarantine process the first two days. And then right from my first practice my mindset was to, if I’m going to be here, make the most of it and see what you can do and lock in on what the main thing is. And the main thing was for us to finish the season and compete for a championship.

“So that’s just been my mindset throughout these — I don’t even know how many days it is, whatever how many days it is, it feels like five years so it really doesn’t matter. I’ve been as locked in as I’ve ever been in my career.”

The Patriots were able to bounce back after a very tough start to the season. Many Patriot fans thought that the team would be able to bounce back like they always have with Tom Brady at the helm. But obviously that didn’t happen. Hopefully this is the start of something impressive like this. And it will be if Cam Newton has anything to say about it:
