Kyle Kuzma Reacts to Big Lakers News: ‘Got a New Player’

Los Angeles Lakers talented player Kyle Kuzma is more than excited about the new player on the roster. Well, it’s not actually a new player.

After two months away from the game, Anthony Davis is set to see some action. Of course, he has to be 100% ready for the return. According to recent sources, Davis will play in the game against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night. This is more than great news for everyone, including Kuzma.

Davis hasn’t played since mid-February. LeBron James is also out. He hasn’t played since March 20. Kuzma celebrated Davis’ return, and he even said that the Lakers will have a “new player” on the floor.

LA Lakers have a new player for the win

Lakers players did an amazing job and managed to stay afloat without AD and LeBron. They entered the regular season as the top seed in the West. Well, the team fell to the fifth seed in the conference. Davis is back in the game and LA has a chance to go up.

Truth is, Davis’ injury wasn’t that bad. He didn’t tear his Achilles. He won’t miss an entire season. That’s a good thing, right?

“I never tore an Achilles, but I kind of felt like sharp pain, like it was ripping, which I had never felt before,” Davis said. “… So I knew it was something serious. It wasn’t as serious as it could have been, but it was still a pretty significant injury. I did think that I had probably partially torn it which I was definitely afraid.”

Davis is excited to play the game too. He will get the chance to play with Andre Drummond and Ben McLemore.

“I think it’s gonna be fairly quick for us to really adapt to each other because we both are guys who want to learn from each other and who want to win at the end of the day,” Davis said of Drummond. “And when you’ve got two guys who want to win, you find ways to make it happen.”
