Fans Are Speculating About Bronny After LeBron Contract News

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James signed a contract extension with the team. This was more than enough for NBA fans to start talking about LeBron’s secret plan.

King James signed a two-year extension with the team Wednesday afternoon. Right after the deal was sealed, basketball fans stared speculating about the king’s future.

This contract extension allows LeBron to stay with the team through the 2022-23 season. He will become an unrestricted free agent in 2023. His oldest son, Bronny, will be eligible to enter the NBA Draft at that point. Of course, this comes on top of the assumption that the NBA will allow high school players to enter the world of NBA.

LeBron has already spoken on the topic. He would love to join forces with his son and play on the same basketball court. It’s his biggest dream. The league has never had a father play with his son at the same time. There’s a really big chance for us to see the king and his son play on the same team.

LeBron signs a good contract for a reason

The GOAT is in his primetime. Age has nothing on LeBron and everyone knows that. He won his fourth ring at 35, leading the Lakers to the first title in a decade. The Lakers won their first title since Kobe Bryant’s era. LeBron joined the team to win his rings and help them make the top of the NBA. This season, the Lakers will play with a stronger roster. LeBron will play with Anthony Davis, Montrezl Harrell, Marc Gasol and many other talented players. In other words, the king has a big chance to win his fifth ring and fifth NBA Finals MVP award. That would be great, right?

When it comes to Bronny, he is listed as the No.19 overall player of the 2023 class as confirmed by 247Sports’ composite rankings.

The one-and-done rule will probably end in the near future, giving Bronny an opportunity to declare for the draft right after his senior year at Sierra Canyon. LeBron will enter free agency that offseason, so he will probably sign with the team that selects his son.
