McLemore got acclimated to his new team. He made his debut with the team Saturday night. The Los Angeles Lakers had an amazing win against the Brooklyn Nets. Brooklyn is packed with talent, but they couldn’t even handle the shorthanded Lakers. It was a good win for everyone. The best part? LA played without Marc Gasol, Kyle Kuzma, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Marc Gasol. But they won the game. That’s the only thing that matters at this point.

McLemore joined the team at the right moment. The Lakers struggled without LeBron and AD. They had to add a couple of new players to the roster. McLemore and Andre Drummond joined LA to help them cope with the absence of both superstars.

McLemore signed with a team that had high expectations surrounding them. This may be new to him. The veteran spent his first few years in the NBA with rebuilding franchises. He started off his career with the Sacramento Kings from 2013 to 2017, and then joined the Memphis Grizzlies. He was part of the Grizzlies until 2018.

The veteran joined the Kings for another season and then joined the Houston Rockets. McLemore played the past one and half NBA seasons. He is a Laker now.

The 28-year-old knows that he has to exert more effort in order to have quality minutes on the floor. LA is pretty stacked. In the game against Brooklyn, McLemore scored 17 points on five of ten shooting from beyond the arc. He also had a lone rebound in 22 minutes of action. McLemore’s production was valuable as the depleted LA was able to shock the Nets. They won with a 126-101 score.
