Frank Vogel Provides Monday Update On LeBron James

The Los Angeles Lakers have been playing without their leader since March 20. The team spoke Monday and provided an update on LeBron James and his potential return. Anthony Davis was out too, but he returned to game action. The Lakers struggled to win games in the past few months. Davis returned and they lost two straight games to the Dallas Mavericks. Many thought that the kid from Akron would return to the floor in the near future. Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN reported that LeBron is set to return by the end of this month.

Lakers fans hope to get positive news from head coach Frank Vogel. Monday was a big day for every fan but nothing changed. Unfortunately, there’s no major news at the moment.

Vogel spoke to the media ahead of the game between the Lakers and Orlando Magic. He said that the four-time NBA champion is out indefinitely. What does that mean? We don’t know if there is a concrete date for LeBron to return to the floor.

Monday update on LeBron James and his return

King James has been on the sidelines since March 20. He suffered a high-ankle sprain and had to miss a lot of time. The Lakers played without both LeBron and Davis for quite some time and players lost too many games. The franchise entered the new season as the top seed in the conference. They lost many games and fell to the fifth seed in the West.

Davis’ minutes have reduced significantly but he won’t be on a minute restriction in the game against the Orlando. He was on a 15- and then 25-minute restriction in the past two contests.

The Lakers have to be careful with both players. LeBron and Davis have to be ready for the postseason. Risking another injury is the last thing LA needs at the moment.
