Huge Development From Talen Horton-Tucker Will Make LeBron James, Lakers Happy

The Los Angeles Lakers will enter the 2021-22 NBA season without Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell, Alex Caruso, Dennis Schroder, and Andre Drummond. The first three were shipped to the Washington Wizards in the Russell Westbrook trade. Schroder turned down the big offer to ink a small deal with the Boston Celtics. Caruso will spent the next three years with the Chicago Bulls. It’s interesting to note that Talen Horton-Tucker inked a deal with the Lakers.

This confirms all the rumors suggesting that the Lakers didn’t want to give up on their young player. They’d rather give up on Schroder. In fact, they considered trading the veteran ahead of the trade deadline.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis are still here. They got a third superstar in Russell Westbrook and the NBA said LA has created another Big 3. Yes, there are also guys who claim the Lakers are too old to win a title.

Talen Horton-Tucker is winning games with his Lakers teammates

LA wanted to keep THT and offered him a big contract. This will keep him in Los Angeles for a few more seasons. Horton-Tucker worked really hard to get here, and LeBron is really happy to see him accomplish a lot of great things on the basketball court.

One highlight video made rounds on the Internet this weekend.

THT went to Chicago and posted a lot of highlights. He was a second round pick for the team. The Lakers got the best of him. If you ask head coach Frank Vogel, he will say Horton-Tucker is a huge rotational player for the squad.

At one point of the offseason, NBA experts thought the Lakers couldn’t make a good deal for Horton. I guess they were wrong as he signed a three-year deal worth $32 million.

If the young player continues to develop as he has over the past two years, the Lakers may walk away with one of the biggest steals in the draft. Everyone likes THT and respects his huge potential on the court. LeBron is definitely a fan.
