Damon Jones Destroys Skip Bayless for Saying LeBron James Has no Chance of Winning Title with Russell Westbrook

The Los Angeles Lakers tried really hard to pack the roster with talent. They signed excellent players and even brought some of the former guys back on the floor. LeBron James will join forces with Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis in the upcoming season. They will have a chance to win a ring and this would be Russ’ first ring in his long NBA career.

Skip Bayless is not a fan of the new-look Lakers team. He doesn’t really believe that Westbrook will help the Lakers win. Moreover, he doesn’t think that Westbrook is a good fit for the team at all. He can’t see him win this season.

Former NBA player Damon Jones has something to say about this. He took to Twitter to blast Bayless. As you may be guessing, Jones is a fan of the new team. The former NBA veteran is convinced that LeBron and Westbrook would work really well on the floor.

The Lakers trusted Westbrook enough to give him a good deal. They have the Big 3 on the floor now and that makes things a lot better than last year. The Lakers missed the playoffs in 2020-21 and Westbrook is here to prevent a similar development.

Bayless criticized the new team too. He said that the Lakers have the oldest roster in the NBA. What does that mean? Bayless would never bet on the new-look team. LeBron is here to prove him wrong. He would definitely bet on his team. He likes the new guys and he has already built a strong connection with them.

There’s nothing better than packing the roster with talent, right? That’s exactly what Pelinka did in the offseason. Trevor Ariza, Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony… They all came to Los Angeles to win a ring. Westbrook has never won a ring. The same goes to Melo.
