Ray Allen Gives His Take on LeBron James – Michael Jordan Comparison

Ray Allen has given his take on the LeBron James and Michael Jordan comparison. The Los Angeles Lakers are set to get their season started less than a month from now. On October 20th, the Lakers will take on the Golden State Warriors. This is a chance for them to try out their new roster and see how they all play together. Fans are definitely expecting to see quite a better outcome than last season.

But some people are still focusing on stuff that is off of the basketball court. Ray Allen is a super star in his own right. He recently came out with some interesting thoughts on the LeBron James and Michael Jordan debate. This debate seems never ending and it most likely never will.

“LeBron is a power. He’s a mismatch. MJ is more like grace and finesse. The comparison is really unfair to both.”

Pretty interesting stuff and it is true for the most part. It is hard to compare players from different eras and different teams.

The Lakers will be talking the floor on October 20th with quite a different look than last year. They have added Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony to the roster. Westbrook had some interesting things to say about his joining of the team.

“LeBron is one of the best players to play this game, and his ability to do everything on the floor allows me to just figure it out,” Westbrook said. “I’m coming to a championship-caliber team, and my job is to make his game easy for him, and I’ll find ways to do that. As it pertains to ball-handling, it really doesn’t matter. There’s many different ways you can impact the game without having the ball in your hands. I’ve been able to do that for a number of years, and we’ll figure it out.”

“Anytime you have three great players like this, there is an element of sacrifice required, and we’ve all talked about that and are all-in on that,” Vogel said. “But these three guys can do it all. They’re all make-the-right-play players. It’s not just about scoring or being a one-dimensional player. They can all do it all. I’m most excited about seeing what the three of them on the court at the same time looks like.”
