LeBron James Delivers Surprising Response to Russell Westbrook’s Abysmal Preseason Debut for Lakers

LeBron James has delivered a surprising response to Russell Westbrook’s abysmal preseason debut for the Los Angeles Lakers. The Los Angeles Lakers are getting ready to start the season on October 20th against the Golden State Warriors. However, the Lakers have not looked very good so far in the preseason. They are currently 0-3 and the Laker’s new point guard, Russell Westbrook, is not looking very good at all.

LeBron and Westbrook both talked about the game after they were beaten by the Warriors last night.

“Everything not going to be figured out in the next week or two,” Russell Westbrook said after the game. “We’ll figure it out.”

“I care about the practice scores then I care about the preseason games,” said LeBron James. “I don’t really put too much into preseason, to be honest.”

LeBron also talked about the bad performance of his new teammate. He is not too worried about it, as it turns out.

“For me, I care more about the practice courts than I care about preseason games.” LeBron James said after the game to reporters.

Westbrook, for what it is worth, is very excited about joining the Lakers.

“Some of these dreams don’t come true for people like myself,” Westbrook said.

“Being from LA, you always wish that you could play for your home team,” Westbrook said. “That’s definitely something that always circled around in my mind. Maybe one day? But I always would come back and be like, ‘Ah, that probably won’t happen.’ I just had to wait and see. But now that we’re here, I’m going to take full advantage of it.”

“LeBron is one of the best players to play this game, and his ability to do everything on the floor allows me to just figure it out,” Westbrook said. “I’m coming to a championship-caliber team, and my job is to make his game easy for him, and I’ll find ways to do that. As it pertains to ball-handling, it really doesn’t matter. There’s many different ways you can impact the game without having the ball in your hands. I’ve been able to do that for a number of years, and we’ll figure it out.”
