Veteran Free Agent Calls Out Lakers Amid Blowout

A veteran free agent has called out the Los Angeles Lakers after yet another blowout. The Lakers are struggling in the preseason which is surprising to see. With that being said, the preseason means nothing other than getting your feet under you. The Lakers should be totally fine going into the regular season. With that being said, some of the offensive woes that we have seen thus far, are a bit worrisome.

One veteran free agent has gone to Twitter to offer the Lakers some help.

James Ennis had something to say after seeing the Lakers get blasted by the Phoenix Suns.

“I play defense sign me already lol,” Ennis tweeted.

It is not the first time he has hinted at wanting to play for the Lakers either.

LeBron had a few words of wisdom after the game admitting that there are issues but they will work through them.

“We pretty much have got a whole new offensive system this year that we’ve been working through over our practices since training camp started,” James told reporters. “It’s an adjustment for us offensively, just having guys in different positions, having guys in different places on the floor with our new look and what we’re trying to do.”

Russell Westbrook also had a few things to say to reporters after the game.

“The turnover stuff is on me, but good thing they don’t count,” Westbrook told reporters after losing to the Suns. “Turnover it over 15 times. Ain’t nothing nobody can do about it. It’s all good. It’s on me, though.”

Westbrook is excited about this opportunity, though.

“Being from LA, you always wish that you could play for your home team,” Westbrook said. “That’s definitely something that always circled around in my mind. Maybe one day? But I always would come back and be like, ‘Ah, that probably won’t happen.’ I just had to wait and see. But now that we’re here, I’m going to take full advantage of it.”

“LeBron is one of the best players to play this game, and his ability to do everything on the floor allows me to just figure it out,” Westbrook said. “I’m coming to a championship-caliber team, and my job is to make his game easy for him, and I’ll find ways to do that. As it pertains to ball-handling, it really doesn’t matter. There’s many different ways you can impact the game without having the ball in your hands. I’ve been able to do that for a number of years, and we’ll figure it out.”
