ESPN Analyst Thinks The Lakers Are “Cooked”

The Los Angeles Lakers struggle on the floor this season. They entered the regular season as favorites to win the ring. It was an easy job for the franchise, but things didn’t go the way they planned. It was hard and challenging. LeBron James missed 8+ games due to an injury. He earned a suspension and also entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Anthony Davis is out now and he will miss pretty much every game in the next four weeks. LA is without some of the key players on the roster. Dwight Howard, Talen Horton-Tucker and a few other players entered COVID protocols. Trevor Ariza and Kendrick Nunn sustained injuries… The list doesn’t end here. If you ask ESPN analyst Tim Legler, he will say the Lakers are “cooked.”

Head coach Frank Vogel entered COVID protocols as well and David Fizdale stepped in as his replacement.

The Lakers have a 16-15 record at this point of the regular season. Fans have voiced their concerns… Should we start panicking?

The ESPN analyst says Lakers are cooked despite their efforts to boost the roster

Ledger would never ever support the Lakers. He doesn’t believe that the current Lakers roster will lead the team to a win.

“I think the Lakers are done WITH Anthony Davis. They’re cooked!” he said on First Take“Regardless if Anthony Davis comes back or stays back… it doesn’t matter to me.

“… I don’t see the Los Angeles Lakers winning a title this year no matter what happens with their health down the road.”

LA players will have to work really hard to fix the damage. Howard and THT are back on the floor as they cleared COVID protocols.

Now is the perfect time to bring some new players in. The front office should make a few moves to make things easier for LeBron, Russell Westbrook, and the rest of the guys.

Let’s see what happens in two weeks. The team will evaluate Davis in a month. He should feel much better. LA needs him on the floor before it’s too late. They should avoid the play-in tournament at any cost.
