LeBron James Gives 5-Word Response to Anthony Davis Knee Injury

The Los Angeles Lakers have a few issues on the table at the moment. Several players will miss out the next few games after testing positive for COVID-19. As if this wasn’t enough, one of the key players on Frank Vogel’s roster sustained injury in the loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Four-time NBA champion LeBron James doesn’t seem to be worried about Anthony Davis and his knee injury.

NBA fans watched in horror as AD landed awkwardly on the right ankle. He returned to the game to help his teammates beat the Timberwolves. It didn’t happen, and the big man injured his left knee and even collapsed on his way to the locker room.

Davis will have to undergo an MRI to determine the severity of his injury. Vogel will wait for the results of the MRI to make a decision on Davis’ role in the next couple of weeks. The team doctor checked Davis and everyone hopes that the big man return to the floor for the upcoming game.

“He did see the team doctor here and he’s just going to be evaluated tomorrow (in Chicago) with the MRI, and we’ll know at that time,” Vogel said. “Hopefully, it’s something minor and he can get back soon, but we’ll know more tomorrow.”

LeBron James, Lakers want to see Anthony Davis on the floor despite his injury

LeBron and Davis talked after the game, but the king of basketball couldn’t say much about it.

“We asked him how he’s doing, he said, ‘We’ll find out more tomorrow.’ So that’s all we know.”

I guess everyone will be waiting for an update on Davis’ injury. Losing AD to an injury is the last thing the Lakers need at the moment. He is a valuable player and Vogel really needs him to take the team to the playoffs.

The Lakers entered the season as favorites to win the championship. NBA veterans signed with the team to win their first ring. Russell Westbrook belongs to this group. Former Lakers players returned to LA to win as well. We can’t wait to see what happens next in LA.
