Patriots Quarterback Mac Jones Keeps It Real on Thumb Injury

New England Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones was added to Tuesday’s injury report for the first time this season. Some fans started panicking because, hey, it’s Mac Jones. He is the starting quarterback for the Patriots. He is a great guy, and the Patriots don’t have a valuable replacement at the moment.

Well, you don’t have a reason to be worried. Jones may have been added to the injury report, but he feels great.

Reporters wanted to know more about his injured thumb, and Jones’ response was loud and clear. There’s nothing wrong about it. Simple as that. The quarterback is healthy and ready to play against the Indianapolis Colts.

Patriots will win a lot of games with Mac Jones at center

Jones ended up on the injury report, but he was full participant at practice. The rookie didn’t miss a beat and let’s just say he is stronger than ever. Jones’ throwing hand is perfect so there’s no need to panic at this point.

Head coach Bill Belichick selected Jones in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. The rookie earned the quarterback job this summer after beating Cam Newton in the quarterback competition.

Many analysts believe that Jones will be the Patriots quarterback of the future. He has completed 70.3 percent of his passes for 2,896 yards and 16 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

The Patriots have a 9-4 record at this point of the regular season and Jones had a big role in the process.

They are on to the Indianapolis Colts and it’s an easy game. Of course, Colts players are super confident about their skills, suggesting that they will have the power to shut down Josh McDaniels’ offense. Well, the Patriots have strong defense and their offense is great, too.

Jones has the right attitude for a star and many have compared him to Tom Brady. The Alabama quarterback has great skills and he doesn’t say more than he is supposed to. This makes him the ultimate candidate for Belichick’s team.

The Patriots sit on top of the AFC and Stephen A. Smith can see them compete in the Super Bowl.
