LeBron James Reveals Shocking Reason Why he Snubbed Media After Nuggets Blowout

The loss to the Denver Nuggets was like putting salt to an injury. The Los Angeles Lakers struggled to make an impact on the floor. NBA analysts were pretty unhappy with the performance LA had in the game against the Nuggets. LeBron James was so frustrated that he even snubbed the media following the blowout loss. LA finished the game with a 133-96 loss. It’s more than obvious that LeBron didn’t feel good. What happened next? LeBron didn’t want to talk to the media. He didn’t have his usual post-game press conference. Yes, LeBron likes to discuss games and the performance his teammates had. This time it was different.

The four-time NBA champion offered an explanation for his behavior. It seems like he wasn’t in the mood of saying anything good.

“I didn’t like what was going to come out of my mouth,” LeBron said Monday. “So I decided not to speak with you guys.”

LeBron James snubbed the media for a reason

Fans got the message. LeBron is a great guy. He is not rude at all. Having smooth conversations with the media is of utmost importance. LeBron would never do anything to destroy his own reputation.

Lakers players didn’t like the outcome of the game either. Magic Johnson even told Lakers owner Jeanie Buss that she deserves better. These comments didn’t sit well with Russell Westbrook. The Lakers veteran offered an expected response. He is not someone who’d stay calm and say nothing.

LeBron feels bad, too. He apologized to fans and everyone else for the bad game.

“We just weren’t playing to our capabilities and we weren’t giving maximum effort,” LeBron said. “So that starts with me as the leader of the team, and so just taking the onus and letting Laker Nation know. Wasn’t about anybody, it was about our fans and the people that ride and die with us every single day. Let them know that I got this and it wouldn’t happen again.”

May this loss be a motivation for each and every player on Frank Vogel’s roster.
