Patriots’ Damien Harris, Adrian Phillips Offer Encouraging Injury Updates

The New England Patriots finished Week 17 with a big W. Players celebrated a 50-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. JC Jackson and Mac Jones made history. Jones became the first Patriots rookie to throw 20 touchdown passes in the first campaign with the team. Let’s move on to the injuries players deal with at the moment. Damien Harris suffered a hamstring injury and fans couldn’t hide their concerns.

The star suffered his injury in Week 13 and missed the loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He gave fans a big scare and didn’t see much playing time in the second half of Sunday’s win over the Jaguars. Seeing him take a smaller role is really concerning. Is he okay? Fans asked too many questions on social media.

Well, Harris has an encouraging update for them all. In the postgame press conference, Harris told the media that he is “good.” The star player finished the night with 35 carries and a couple of touchdowns.

Damien Harris, Adrian Phillips feel great despite injury

Harris is not the only player to deal with nagging injury. Adrian Phillips is dealing with a knee injury and an illness. He didn’t join the team for practice this week. As if this wasn’t enough, he left the game vs. Jaguars with an ankle injury. Don’t panic, he is “fine.” Just like his dear teammate.

“We just had a little rotation going,” the safety said. “There’s nothing goin’ on. We fine.”

You better be. The Patriots will finish their season with a game against the Miami Dolphins. Phillips has all the motivation in this world to help the team win. He was just offered a good contract extension.

Bill Belichick praised the safety and his incredible versatility. Phillips got what he deserves and we have enough reasons to believe he will stick around for a little longer than predicted.

The 2021 season was a big one for Patriots players. Some of them had so much to prove, and Jones is one of them. Harris is having another spectacular season. The same goes to JC Jackson.
