LeBron Sends Message to Westbrook, Goes Viral for Awkward Exchange

Russell Westbrook was benched at the very end of the game against the Milwaukee Bucks. He didn’t join the Los Angeles Lakers in the final minutes of the game. Head coach Frank Vogel had his reasons to bench Broddie. LeBron James watched the situation unfold and he delivered a big message for Westbrook.

The situation in Los Angeles is pretty tense and the front office is probably eyeing other options.

LeBron James has a surprising message for Westbrook, sparkles rumors

Westbrook may soon leave the Lakers. Although Rob Pelinka said he wouldn’t trade the veteran this season, LeBron’s latest comments made us ask questions.

“Listen, I want to help A.D., I want to help Russ,” LeBron said. “A.D. want to help me, help and Russ want to help us. And obviously, you know, lately Russ hasn’t felt like he’s had an opportunity or with opportunities he’s been given, he hasn’t helped us as much as he would like.

“We haven’t done a great job of helping him. But, at the end of the day, it has always kind of started with myself and A.D. and Russ joined the team as well, so. We just had a little moment right there and understanding that [there’s] still a lot of basketball to be played.

“There’s still an opportunity for us to make a mark on this season, but it’s going to take some. …It’s going to take a lot, it’s going to take a lot. But nothing is worth having if it’s not worth working for, so we look forward to it.”

At one point of the fourth-quarter, Broddie approached Davis and LeBron to hype them up. Well, the expression on their faces says it all.

Westbrook is really trying to bond with his teammates. He tried to motivate them at the end of the game but there was something awkward about the whole situation.

Trading Westbrook won’t be easy, because his deal is really big. His struggles make every move impossible. Skip Bayless encouraged the Lakers to trade Westbrook to the Houston Rockets. Is Houston interested in getting Broddie?
